the older planes have 3-4 people in the cockpit (Captin,FO,Flight enginer...etc)

wow:) they make flying it seem effortless... soooo many ppl in the cockpit though!! isnt ther meant to be 2 pilots and flight engineer?? or was someone in the jump seat

Well there is a significant difference in noise level between the RR's on a 747-300 and 747-400. The ones on the 747-300 have alot more "buzz saw" than on the 747-400. In general if you were sitting on the front side of the engines you will hear alot of the "buzz saw" than you would if you were sitting behind it.

The RR's on a 747-300 are alot noisier than on the 747-400. The sound you are hearing is correct.

it looked like it was going to go into a stall cause it semmedd like it was going sooo slow on the runway

i know the difference i am working on becoming a pilot. it is just this sounds so diesel like or something not that characteristic hissing steady slow changing jet sound. i guess it is the camera. the video still rocks shows the guages before god gave us digital! |
