i cant agree more, i like vista a lot too. you know when people say that vista takes up too much ram and all, xp did the same thing when it came out. back then most people had 256 mb of ram, try running xp on that. And ye hardware changes over time, operating systems do too.

Vista works great, SP1 helped a lot. I have no issues - I have used multiple printers, switched GFX cards twice, all kinds of stuff. Also, all "system hungry tasks" can be easily switched off. And really, they're not even that hungry. I monitor CPU and RAM performance and notice barely any difference. I highly recommend Vista.It's just easy to hate a new thing. It happened with your beloved XP. It was the most hated OS when it came out, and was called one of Microsoft's biggest blunders. lol
