well shit, hmmm "music producers" are supposed to make MUSIC right???and please, just please--dont play dumb with me, everything like this is what i could teach someone how to do from scratch literally within a few hours. PFFsit these people in front of a motion picture to do a musical score, or a video game scene with specific mood changes and time limits--and lets see if theres actually any "skill" among these people

also to make proper d&b you must have a very good understanding of beats, beat divisions and offbeats. People don't just magically know this. Ive drummed for 11 years, and i can tell you for fact that alot of d&b breaks need very specific velocities of all the hits, otherwise it won't sound right AT ALL. To program proper sounding human feel d&b beat is very different to making standard beats as they all have similar velocities. but to say everyone obtains this skill... are you actually stupid?

don't believe you? no i just think you are completely mistaken and obviously dont know one single thing about production & software. Im amazed at how dumb you are thinking you can just pull a track from your ass. and how would selecting a radndom video change anything? d&b is massive in the uk and the states, thats why there is so much of it. and again you misread me. saying it takes talent is an overstatement, but saying it takes no talent at all, shows you are clueless towards production.

in comparison to other styles of electronic, r&b and rap is usually very basic production. bassline,beat, melody. it never goes much further.saying its 'talentless' is a bit silly. but saying it requires talent would also be silly. Some basic understanding of music and software would enable most people to start making r&b style tracks.
