i don't know if you've ever seen the chords that come with this tune. But they're HARD!!! If you've already seen the chord chart, then you'll realize just how amazing NHOP(16 years old!!) and Powell both were.

His piano playing reminds me so much of Theloneous Monk. I'm sure it's not a coincidence. Anyone know why he always did that vocalizing while he was playing?

I appreciate your thoughts, but Ornithology is based on How High the Moon, and Anthropology is based on the changes (extended and alternate chords) of Gershwin's I Got Rhythm, as is exhaustively pointed out below. |
