I recall a British Metal magazine where ONE journalist disagreed with the general opinon that John Tardy had the best Death Metal growl (circa 1991 aprox) by saying at times he sounded like someone thowing up!Obituary are a GREAT band and the vocalist is GOOD but at certain time I can hear the sound of "heaving vomit" - though I never noticed until said music journo pointed it out.Still one of the best Death Metal vocalists in my view regardless.
