thank you so much for posting this. I've tried my hardest to find a tutorial that did not include a digital camera. I love that you don't, and please post more if possible. Also if you could do more for beginners that would be great I have a friend who is trying to get into it and had quite an eye but no educational background in photography. I don't have the time or else I'd help her. :) But anyhoo, thanks again!

most digital camars have a macro setting with a button with a flower shape on it, like mine.:)

it shouldnt matter if you focus on the subject.

so? you can do this stuff with a point and shoot camera. just put it on manual and adjust your settings.
