taekwondo is Not Effective & Not Useful in the real street fight.Boxing, Karate and Kickboxing are proven to be an effective martial arts in sports and in real life senario.

Spitfire , what do they teach you about human anatomy ? What is the best way to attack the ribs and why ? How exactly do nerve strikes work in the body? Also (lol) what sh-t did you ever really break off that your so-called "masters" taught you. The fact that these simple teachers get you to call them "masters" is ridiculous in itself.

hey easy, First theres no such thing as a "master" they are simply teachers. And second, I've been in the arts 40 years and have fought many, many TKD " head hunters " without getting kicked in the head. Why, because unlike TKD stylists I was taught to keep my hands up at all times !

no.. its not. because i guess that is the olyimpic side to it, but with my TKD we train with fists just as much with legs. and for the self-defense part, we're taught counters to break shit off, lol so its not ridiculous.

agreed 540 and 720 are useless. BUT ! spinning motion in 360 is 180 degree. in back kick just 90 degree.

Ok, though i dont have a master because i do not activily participate in tkd lessons or anything, though the spinning back kick also has a spinning motion just like the 360 kick.Not saying its practically useless to learn acrobatic kicks, but the 720 or 540 kick is practically useless, its still good because you receive discipline and balance whilst learning it.
