N0Lif3 here with another game vid!I couldn't say the exact date, but long ago sometime between the years of 1998 and 1999 a friend's friend of mine got a Dreamcast! So, even then I was a huge video game enthusiast, I used to hang around watching them play it. One game that really wow'd me was Evolution. It was an awesome looking rpg game with huge randomly generated dungeons, good music, and fun gameplay to keep me hooked. Too bad for me though, I never got to play it very much.I'm not going to go into more details, so long story short: I have a dreamcast and was able to get ahold of Evolution, but haven't got around to beating it till now.The first time you fight Eugene before this, he's just as weak and dorky as he looks, but when you fight him in the mech, he's tough as nails! It took me several attempts at going at him before I got just the right strategy to beat em'!For that last attacks I made, I completely went on gut instinct. It was like I could sense he was about to die. I look back on it, and wish I could've finished him off with "Magna Combo," which is a frigg'in awesome looking move. It's 2 punches then he finishes off with a Shinryuken (the Street Fighter fans will know what i'm talking about), but I just wasn't completely sure if it would've been enough to kill him.

Now Timestalkers might be better (I don't know. I haven't played it.), but, this game nails the feel it was going for and kept it tough yet interesting.

Story wise Eugene is the last boss. After you beat him you can now go to the last dungon and after you beat that one you can go to any one you want... I think.

they shortened the first half, it would be awesome if it had the full first one,Eugene would actually pose a threat

its annoying when he does that, imagine if you did an attack on him and then he ended up with about 1000+ hp left and then got a double tuen and did naolin 3000 on both X_Xits annoying if he does Minaolin 3000 in the first battle if the soldiers are still there

Yeah, funny you mention that. In my previous attempts to beat him, that was a big thing. He'd keep doing Noalin 3000. I was very lucky in this video.

actually he has 34000 not 74000,luckily this guy didn't have to put up with the noalin 3000 all the time, he didn't do itonce

the DC version of eugene is harder than the GC version. he's like lvl 20 with around 7000 hp on the GC version, while on the DC version hes like around lvl 60 with 74000 hp and he heals himself often.
