I don't know, when I was there, they stopped for me even when I did'nt need a ride! The transportation in Ethiopia is a lot easier though, because the driver has someone who yells out where they're going ahead of time...

Why would you have someone create a guide video who can't provide an informative piece? Shoo! He didn't even visit a taxi rank and explain how to navigate them and safety issues, give the basic downward finger that can be used to indicate a short ride or explain why the bus system is poor and seems to serve wealthier/whiter areas like Melville & Sandton with some regularity. He couldn't even find out the sign for Orange Farm (shown at 1:28-easy explanation:it looks like you're holding an orange)

SA will be like Zimbabwe in another 15 yrs. The roads will start to go bad and since ANC doesn't repair them the economy will be really screwed.
