celts were the original british but after centuries of invasions (the romans came and pushed the celts into wales, scotland and north england. then the saxons and scandinavians came then the normans (northern french) came. The English descend from german, french etc as does the language. Celts are now spit between scotland, wales, Ireland (and northern i), Isle of man and cornwall in england. Brittany in france is also celtic. Irish and scottish languages are similar as is welsh and cornish.

It is spelt 'Eu'. The first letter prononunced like 'E' as in 'E' in Eliphant. Oh....don't worry....I don't think you are far wrong. Anyway, these children are North Walians and are singing in their beautifull accent/pronunciation.

JR Tolkein once stated that Welsh and Finnish were the 2 most beautiful languages on Earth As for the English - not only are you basically Germans. But the "house of Tudor" responsible for Henry 7th 8th and Elizabehth 1 were all Welsh So you could say - the Welsh actually made "England" what it is today !
