Sorry, I'm very confused by what you are saying here. Are you actually suggesting that Heifetz, Fritz Reiner, and the orchestra are improvising?

It goes without saying that Tchaikovsky did a great composition. I guess it also goes without saying that Heifetz did a great interpretation.

You would be pleased to know Fortune, that Heifetz himself had great admiration for the Tch. Concerto as a composition.

man this music is better than anyone else playing it. BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO HEIFETZ! I wish i was there and it was live. This piece played by heitfez is better than watching T.V.

Listen to Heifet'z 1957 recording with Reiner and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, it's much better than this video, and in my opinion, the best recording of the Tchaikovsky violin concerto ever made. |
