Heh, this must have been a long while ago hearing the Wings West flights on the radio. But that Controller at SFO in the video is still there today.

It doesn't have a glass cockpit, of course it is the 200
jackhbuilder (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
okay everyone who doesnt know, the aircraft is a 300 model, yes there is a S/O (second officer) theyre not called SFO's in qantas or anywhere else, and no they are not the engineer, the engineer is seperate, the S/O simply recovers either the capt. or the F/O during flight

Footage pre 1990 ??From a passengers perspective i was lucky enough to do a cpl of non stop SP flights in 1st class Syd-LA in 1985. Steward had served the Queen and about to retire. Opened bottles of 1960's French Red's. Lucky enough to be invited to view cockpit at night over Hawaii. Couldnt believe how relaxed and silent it was.Magnificent Airline and still to this day they are the best flights i;ve ever had.
