Excellent question! Indeed, it is impossible to point out someone elses ego without using your own. The ego, as an idea, is what separates the artist from the critic. My commentary on Saul's "poetry" is coming from the perspective of a critic. This is the central theme in T.S. Eliot's "The Sacred Wood". According, to drone81 he is "wrong" but I respectfully disagree. |
