the reason people are "ripping" on it is this is a meatloaf fan base you list to neutral parties and some will say that Celine's versions better and others Meatloaf it's all a matter of you music taste and what you are exposed to.

I do not think the voice of the female singer compliments the voice of Meat Loaf- probably Celine Dion's voice would fit much better. I want to hear Meat Loaf sing more and not her voice overshadow his. But you have to love Meat Loaf.

I agree, Metloaf rocks. But there is something in this version that I don't like. I think that it's because I don't like it sang by a man and a woman. The song touches me more when just a woman, like Celine, sings it.

This version is so much better, with the two people telling their stories. Celine did a good job, but it can never hold as much raw passion as Meatloaf puts behind all his songs. x

I'm a diehard MEatloiaf fan, so I've never listened to Celine Dion's. I've always liked her voice, just not as much as others. Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman are good too. I love her opera soprano.

actually...this version is growing on me. I guess i was partial to celine's because I had a boyfriend who was killed in a wreck. So I was able to relate to how she portrayed the bike accident. Yeah...think i'll add this to myspace.

I luv this version. Meatloaf is so passionate when he sings this song. Way better than Celine. Its like he is singing it to me. Awesome.

Meat isn't telling the story, he is living it. That is way it holds the power that it has. He is there, that is way so mny of us have been around so long. It's all coming back to me--- |
