in 1:35 he says "V1" which means the aircraft has reached the speed to which it's committed to takeoff because there is not enough distance left to stop on the runway. than it's"rotate" which means the pilot must rotate the nose into the air to start climbing, then "V2" meaning the aircraft has reached the sufficient speed at which the aircraft can continue takeoff normally with 1 engine should 1 engine fail. MD-11 has 3 engines so here v2 would mean takeoff can go on with 2 of 3 engines running
