in this interview georgios says he has been in holland for 4 years, charisteas 2 month at that moment.. But I don't know much about Charisteas.. ;)(i'm sorry for my bad English.... ;) )

Greeks apparently have the ability to speak Dutch rather quickly and well, except for Charisteas, who just kept talking German but he's a useless slug anyways.
