I'm from the South Pacific and in appreciation of your culture even though I don't understand what is being sung I very much commend the young lady dancing. Not only does she keep time with the rythm, she reaches into the soul and one cannot help but be captured. Love it love it!! Thanks for sharing this clip.

to all who compares with shakira, it´s got nothing to do with it. this is real raqs sharqui, it´s not an exhibition of sensual movements (and I like Shakira a lot). and this girl is not only dancing but interpreting the song.you´d know that if you´d talk arabian. She is fantastic

I like how her movements are precise, but she doesn't flail around or overdo it like some dancers have a tendency towards.Look at her poise! Stop comparing to Shakira, it's two different styles of bellydance.

no shakira don't know nothing about it, she uses only the sexiest movements etc... this is why people says that, don't forget that orientale dance is a folk dance!
