Hi. Some info about the wipers: you need all the latest updates (1.3, about 2 years old). Of course, the wipers only work in the VC (virtual cockpit) mode. I never fly the PMDGs in VC mode - so that's all I can help... About engine start: if you follow these procedures above, it MUST work. Make sure you start the PMDG in 'cold and dark' configuration (load the cessna172, set mixture cutoff, magnetos off etc. etc. and save.) 20.0 N1 is a bit slow speed, wait for 23.0 N1 RPM percent.
