My son's granpa grew up here- he loved Yorkshire and always told me about it- he was our Uncle Don- bless his heart- he is no longer with us in person but in my mind he is always with us -x

What is the best season to see the moors? I mean when does the heather bloom? In Poland it's the end of August.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I feel very lucky to live right on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors - great for cycling and walking. Don't tell too many people or it might get crowded!!
