Its not YOUR gulf, its international waters.The U.S. was invited into the middle east by Saudis and Kuwait among others. Arabs thought that they could use america for their purposes against Iraq but once invited america stayed there. U.S. does business with the gulf states and its mutually beneficial. But from your point of view Iran is in the center of everything and you are ignoring the rest of the world. Maybe YOU are not so important as you think you are?

Iranians are so stupid that they had to give away their battle tactic. By now U.S. navy has worked out plans and strategy on how to deal with these speed boats and calculated iranian intentions. :D

I have also this to say, it's really so damn refreshing to hear the USN guys speaking on the VHF when you are in Iranian waters or near them, it just feels like that some1 that cares is nearby, and it also makes you feel that the "Guards of the Revolution" can't just board your vessel and do something retardedly stupid, b/c they will get their asses kicked. Some times I just want to say hello, but you can't just call them and say "Hi guys how is it going". So, I am saying "hello" here.

They spam VHF CH 16 alllll the time, "NE bound Container ship in posn XXXXN XXXXE, at a spd of 25 Kts. Iranian Guards of the Revolution Speedboat calling you on CH 16". Ffs, they are so annoying you can't do your watch properly with them spamming 16, and then you got the other guys too who play Arab/Iranian music on 16.
