Bloody hell... it is a Libertines song not a Pete song... both wrote it... both can sing it. The lead vocalist on the original doesnt own it... Great work , Carl

Wow, wow, wow. Stop arguing. You are all clearly fans of the music yet you have great difficulty getting your head around the concept of a song writting duo. I wouldn't let it get you down. My advice is that you get on with your day, be it watching mind numbing nimrods on youtube or going out and enjoying your life to the full.

And, although I do like Dirty Pretty Things and have seen them live, Carlos doesn't have the prescence of Peter when he's singing and that's not assuming anything....that is fact. And if Carl wrote that song, he should give it to Pete who does it better.

First off: Matt Long06 can go fuck himself! Secondly: The Libertines were more than just one person. They were 4. An amazing drummer. An ok bass player. An amazing guitarist: Carl Barat. And an amazing songwriter with an utterly original (albeit sometimes out of key) singing voice: Peter Doherty. I wish they were still together, but they're not.
