Una was the winner of the IMRO Sponsorsed Glinsk Song Contest in 2004. Thurles born Una Healy emerged as the winner with a song entitled "Every Melody" which she co-wrote with Owen Brady. This was the second time for Una Healy to take home the "Gannon Brothers Crystal trophy" and the IMRO cheque for €1,000. Una first won this contest in 2003 and since then she has become a celebrity on the national stage. I know this girl, we're from the same town and not only is she stunning, she is incredibly talented and is now in the Saturdays, soon to be huge in the UK. Thurles seems to have a great music scene these days, check out the Rumours.
