and this statement proves my point precisely.....where one guy's deity is superior to another guy's deity.....this is the ignorant, hate spewing fundamentalist misinterpretation of a book of christian mythology.....the same ignorant crap promulgated by Becky Fischer in this documentary....there will never be piece in the world as long as religious dogma of this type prevails because it is the root of all evil in the world and nearly the cause of all way.....for what???

no......rational people who speak out against radical religious extremists tend to be heros.....if you are moral and live your life in a way that is respectful of others and benefits humanity as a whole then religion is a dying myth...as it should be.....religion is the root of all evil and this is why the secular world generally rejects it...

good point....thank you.....I had to read it for an elective in college called THe Bible as Literature.....fascinating but VIOLENT.....most evangelical wack-a-doos don't have a clue....

God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. For starters, before you talk about how abortion is wrong try raising kids on minimum wage. There are 6.5 BILLION people on this planet. the human race will survive if a few babies don't make it. As for universal values, have you EVER really read the bible?God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21).
