er, wtbap26 and planeboy - pay attention guys. Nobody is suggesting we ban flying altogether, just that air travel can't keep expanding indefinitely without becoming a major contributor to serious climate change. Read the 'aviation' section on the Greenpeace UK website and find out what we are actually talking about before leaping to silly conclusions, please.

i agree with planeboy737! i bet half the people or actually all of them have been on a aircraft before anyway :D Aviation is the safest transport. We need the Aviation! Without the Aviation these days, you can barely step out the country, theres no way your going from london to Australia by car or train!!
planeboy737 (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
Really please stop distrupting air travel i don't want to see you mucking around on a tail of a BA Airbus 320 parked. I know what to protest about! Recycling!!!!!!!!. Cause the country does not have millions to spend on a high speed rail link. A runway will cost less! If you don't want plane noise MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE PLZ.Avation is less polluting than shipping!PLZ PLZ PLZ stop trespassing to protest it dosn't help the matter!

the is a damn reason why theyre expanding heathrow, its too try ans stop all these delays and hassles to ridden off. heathrow is an airport where planes from ALL over the world come and stop by thyere gonn alisteb to a bunch of protestors

Rubbish. I support technology and modernity entirely; however, some things are unnecessary in times like this, when they could contribute to such destruction. A third runway is unnecessary. And I'm not the one who brought up the boat/sea industry, so no need to insult me for not 'getting' facts about it - I'm talking about aviation, I never had the intention of talking about other matters.

Peharps you should get some facts about it then? If you lot had your way we would all go back to living in mud huts and travelling by Horse and Cart.

please find a real issue. I'm sorry but thus is not the place to start to safe the world.

I use Heathrow maybe 2 times a year & anything that make getting to where I need to go faster is fine by me.Aviation only counts for what 4 or 5% come on people. I don't call myself a green person but I do take the bus to work and holiday in the UK I take coach or train. But any overseas holiday we in UK need to fly. Heathrow full but planes still come flying over London waiting to land burning more fuel in the air then if they was on the ground. Your not going to stop the planes so let them land
Halifaxtownfan (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
They shouldnt live by the fucking airport if they do not want the nosie
LoserLucy (January 1, 1970 at 12:59 am)
I don't know any facts about the boat/sea industry (tad vague there?) so I'm not disputing that. But aviation is the fastest growing source of C02 which means it's at the stage that we can and must do something about it before it's too late. |
