I know,i know... There is much competitors these days... But Mercedes prevails!Everything about cars started there... In Stuttgart,Mercedes (Daimler-Benz Werke) built first car ever made. And they also made first diesel car,first true sportscar (1954 300SL),first common rail system in gasoline engine,ABS brakes (they had them in 1922,gave them to BMW,which was making aeroplanes at that time,then,installed them in 1978 S-class),and many,many more. Thats why i hate people say Merc is bad car.

Diesels run on low RPM and have good stable torque,so that shows up in pulling heavy weights and fuel consumption. And if you combine that with some excellent engineering of the vehicle and good driver, obstacles like this one is piece of cake!So,if you want to buy gasoline car,look for horsepower,if you want diesel,then look for torque.

Its a diesel and a truck so the horsepower does not mean anything to you. You look for torque and pull power not hp!
