saw em a month before Duane died at Winterland in SF. a year later-same place-1st 3 songs that night ended up on wipe the windows live bros. that night I thought the roof was gonna fly right off the music was so frickin hot. years ago I heard a tape of Duane sitting in wth the dead doing beat it on down the line. Duane did a 15 second solo that was a most brilliant thing -he expressed so much emotion and coolness in 15 seconds - perfect !!!! miss him and dickey and dangerous dan toler

i don't appreciate you're comment, man. you're generalizing things way too much.i'm 17 and let me tell you that good music never dies, regardless of what generation you're from. there's people with bad taste in every generation. look at disco. that doesn't mean the entire generation is clueless.

Its amazing that Duane can take up such an amazing role in the field of guitar and still allow the other instruments to play an equal part in the song as he does. That is what songwwriting is all about.

I am 26. And spent most of my time doing the same thing. Only it was a 65' Rivera Grand Sport with a 425CI Nailhead I rebuilt with my cousin. Sick car. Nothing but Zep, Cream, Sabbath, CSNY, Jethro, went through it. But the only way to get her side ways was Strangle Hold by Ted Nugent....I love my car but I love that song more.And believe me, not all kids today are clueless...still tonns of cool that is handed down generations. Cool Parents = Cool kids. \m/

Still sends shivers up my spine almost 38 years later. Kids today are clueless. Sorry. Not your fault. Tooling around in a '67 GTO listening to a radio. Put the peddle down to this and fish tail all over the road as the rear end tries to break loose. Girlfriend yelling to slow down. I saw Hendrix in concert in '69. Time flies.

I was commenting on the response video because of course the orginal is good. (They're famous and got paid for it.) What I don't understand is why the guy took his response video off of here. It was really good. The music to this video is good and the clips are ok. They don't have enough imagination for me to give them a real comment. They are justt clips taken from Allman Brother's albums. (It's nice but so what really.) Act out the song and then come ask me.
