I think he is totally unfunny and anyway he has got his facts totally wrong. Tony Blair actually comes from Edinburgh (so this dopey scot should know that) and then spent his childhood and youth in Durham which is several miles away from Newcastle. I would think a better comparison would be that Glasgow actually makes Detroit look like the Hamptons. I am totally sick of people having a pop at my hometown of Newcastle (BTW I drink Newkie Brown and am neither fat nor drunk all the time).
