yeah i've heard of the jet engines that give out torque via shaft.. this is what i wanted to make but i havent seen any one that makes these things open to the public besides diy garage projects.

I don't run jet cars, I just work on airplanes & the engines. U can anything is possible cuz thanks 2 dreamers now we got Hydroplanes, the 2YK that are Turboshafts<(jet engines for rotational torque only not thrust). Make every dream possible one by one. Peace.

hell man i'd love to run a jet car :)

you are referring to it not making much power down low right? think about it, you only need huge amount of power in one end, you dont need a flat power band in racing. Reason? in racing you only use maybe like 2-3k rpm range and that is from the redline to like 2-3k less then that.. ex.. 5k rpm to like 8k rpm.. not much under 5k.. therefore you dont even care what you get at the low rpms. I hope you understand what i mean by that.

4 strokes is not 4 revolutions "buddy"a stroke is not revolution.an intake is a stroke, compression is another stroke, combustion is another stroke and exhaust is the last stroke.. that is 2 revolutions. AAHHH every one on youtube is an expert but yet they have no idea what they are saying...

no he is right, a 6 cylinder engine fires only 3 times per crank turn. WHY? a 4 stroke motor needs 2 full crank turns to produce 1 power stroke. Remember? Intake, compression, combustion, exhaust...

there was an RX 7 out there with 4 rotors too.
