yea, I find it better if you catch wild fish at younger size, therefor you train them to eat fixed foods.

Lol yeah, our jags bite.But yeah alot of people dont know catfish and also loaches have spines untill they try to pick them up and end up with cuts on their hands.

I found that out during feeding time. My fish always find out some way to hurt me.

Even if you cichlid didn't make peace with it,catfish have a nasty habit of using their spines,specially at that size :P

for fast growth all you need is good food, a big tank, frequent water changes, and great water quality.

how what grow extremely fast?it took the bullhead 1 & 1/2 years to get this size and the carpinte took about the same time to get 9". They grow fast until 6", then they really slow down.

the bull head cat is 9" and is wild caught. (I try to catch my own fish) |
