oh my god, it's amazing how the music was so fierce and out there, but when they speak here there is such a down south, "aww shucks" thing going on. pylon is probably the strangest band to ever exist and i LOVE them for it.

Actually, Peter heard "Crazy" on the radio the week that 'Chronic Town' was released and was bummed out how much better Pylon was.

R.E.M. is a lot more lively on their new album than they have been over the past four records. The new B-52's album is pretty good, too. Pylon was a great band, too.

you bet, many people have never heard of this great band.what the f. they in my opinion, they should have been up there with rem and b52s. i guess they didnt want to get hung up in with the big rock star life. so now we getfucking rem and the tired ass b-52s comeback.

Actually he once said they were the best band in the world, period. I think it was in answer to a question on whether he thought REM was the best band in the world. He answered, "We can't be. Pylon already is." |
