Damn... this is the type of preformance that causes 2 kinds of reactions... first "Damn! I want to do that" then go pick up a guitar... or "Damn! why do i even bother?"then quit if you already play.

why do people always have to draw comparisons? by the way, these "complex" rhythms you speak of are nothing more than 4/4 with clever syncopation etc. many of these "metalheads" you refer to use ridiculously complex meter/tempo changes with incredible syncopation.. take the band meshuggah for example. but i say again, why even bother comparing, there is good blues/jazz and there is good metal.
