he's running a high speed setup, so... he probably has flat ratio gears, a high speed piston, bearing bushings and good wiring, maybe a mosfet and a good 9.6v battery. this video is old, before the rise in popularity with lipos, so i doubt he's using a lipo, just a smooth gearbox.

Yes depending on what gears you may have. However the easiest way you can upgrade your ROF is to simply increase the voltage of the battery you are using. if i switch from a 8.4 to a 10.8 or 11.1 volt battery the ROF will significantly increase. The stronger the voltage, the more power is being sent to the motor, the faster it can cycle the gears.

wow, you are a idoit. Batteries do matter. but not that much. but it effects it. the ROF can be upgraded by the Gears in the Gear box. the cylinder. and other internal parts.
