A combination of the FA who are mostly morons and the media are a complete embarassement, and really cause a lot of problems for the national team and the national game. McClaren is a bad choice for england manager I dont rate him what so ever, espeically over his initial handling of beckham. That showed what type of characture he is, pulling those faces.
