I for sure think that bands sound better when they sing in there native language, but kraftwerk is so sick that they can sing in asian and it would still sound awesome.

Kraftwerk was very good known internationally since the release of Autobahn in 1974. They experimented a lot with the sound of different languages - this is why so many different versions of the song "Pocket Calculator" exists and Karl Bartos has released an album called "Esperanto"

i understand what you mean and yes you were misunderstood but im sure when kraftwerk did their songs in other languages they made more money.i mean money isnt everthing but its a nice thing to have ya know?wanna chat music hit me anytime soulkombinat!

thank you. i thought EVERYBODY knows, that 95% of all kraftwerk-songs are in german, of course: its a german band. i also think, the language fits better to the sound. and: all the kraftwerk singles were hits in germany when they came out. in 1978 the kids (and me) got wild when "DIE MENSCHMASCHINE" came out. (before the rest of world discovered it), never ever listened to the english versions.go, get the german pressings! ;)

i agree about the original version,but saying "the english version sucks" at least give us a reason why you think so.you got alot of thumbs down on your comment.i kinda thought you may have meant something else.from your reply with an explanation i think you were misunderstood,i thought you were being snotty or something but you were not.its good to see someone share info i did not know the original was in german i have to go hear it now.

yes, but the original is german. a true fan should listen to the ORIGINALS. the text is not very complicated.
