Such a beautiful woman and voice!

This sounds nothing like Diana Krall. Clearly somebody listens to Joni Mitchell songs done by Diana Krall and then has the nerve to say that Joni singing her OWN SONGS doesn't sound right.

its essentially tuned to E and then barred chords, although once in a while its an augmented chord.

Yeah, its joni but she's older here and her voice has changed a bit

Joni's using Amelia (who disappeared into the Pacific) as a metaphor for her own crash and burn personal relationships. Only a genius can pull this off (it would only even occur to a genius). for Joni - no sweat.God bless her.

Joni is using the mental images of Amelia (who went down in the Pacific) as a metaphor for the crash and burn relationships of her own personal life. Only a genius can pull this off. For Joni, no sweat.

i have not heard diana krall's version ... which CD/DVD is it on? this one is definitely Joni Mitchell and it is not her version because she wrote the song back in 1976.

Amelia in the song is Amelia Earhart. She was a pioneering female aviatrix who mysteriously disappeared over the Pacific Ocean in 1937.
