I'm not being an ass, but can you read? It isn't about them changing...it's about them being Divas and screwing Victory Records...the label that made them the band that they are today. They committed that they would make 4 records with Victory and they didn't fulfill that. They made three records and one half-assed shitty greatest hits record just so they could get out of their deal with Victory and move on to a bigger label. If they were real musicians they would have honored their contract!

Why do people keep making a big deal out of them "Changing"...Let us talk about "Changing", Because clearly 90% of the people posting here do not remember their old stuff that sounds closer to this.Oh Mainstream? It is called Mainstream because more people like it, Hmm... I'm pretty sure that anybody who could put music out to a bigger audience WOULD do so.Its like saying "More people enjoy this music, so we will make our own version of that for them

Not one person here, Atreyu fan or not, can tell me that it was just for them to release that Greatest Hits record to get out of their contract with Victory. Nobody can...put the music aside and just say from an ethical standpoint if that was right or wrong.

I wasn't ripping on Atreyu changing. I was saying that they were completely unprofessional in the way they ended their contract with Victory by releasing a half-assed Greatest Hits record to get out of their deal. If you're going to give somebody your word on a contract you see it through with 100% effort...you don't end it half assed to achieve mainstream success. And Alex saying he doesn't give a fuck about the fans who like the old stuff...they were the ones who got them here today you know!
