Re-Scheduled to Wednesday night, November 19th at 9:00 pm, FOX NEWS will be airing the CPS students with disabilities denied busing story on the 9 O'Clock News. Myself and other parents with children that have disabilities have been interviewed in a 4 minute story about our children's IEP transportation requirements not being provided by Chicago Public Schools. Mark Saxenmeyer and his staff should be commended for making it happen!

I really hope Arne Duncan does not get to be the head of the department of education for the United States. If he gets that much power, expect students with disabilities to be left behind if his track record here in Chicago is any indication.

You are missing the point. I never mentioned mercury, it is the tie between ALL vaccines and the demands of the public school system for children to have vaccines to go to school. The relationship of increased Autism with increased vaccine requirements by the government cannot be denied. Mercury is just a piece of the Autism cause puzzle. The food pyramid that the government requires of the school system also needs to be questioned. Dairy and grains (gluten) are not good for people.

It's not just the mercury in the vaccines, it's the increased amount of inoculations given to babies today. Developing babies bodies have to struggle just to "set up" so to speak. The amount of immunizations children get is the highest ever. It would also be interesting to know how many babies that die of SIDS had vaccine inoculations. If both parents of you and your sister are the same, the odds of having autism are much greater if you are a boy. Many families have autistic boys and not girls.

Aside from the fact that the mercury theory has been thoroughly discredited and is held in contempt by real autism experts, maybe you should stop assuming your child is everyone on the autistic spectrum.I am autistic. My sister is not. We received the same vaccinations at the same ages in the same dosages. Many autistic adults today can tell you the same thing. Explain that one.Oh yeah, and I was a hyperlexic child, to boot. I had a better command of English as a toddler than you do now.

I do not know if this statement could possibly filter down to Mr. Obama, but he needs to be told.He could score a major coup in terms of approval from autistic adults and teenagers around the world (not just in America) by revoking Autism Speaks' charitable status and instructing the Department Of Justice to make the Wrights explain to the public what they did with all of those donations.That would be a major step in putting an end to discrimination against the autistic.

This autistic adult had parents and teachers who thought as you do when he was young. Now, his parents are scared to speak to him, and one of his former teachers keeps calling the police, claiming I am turning up on their door to kill them. (For the record, I do not know where they live, but I would pay good money to find out.)That is a pretty hardcore series of reactions to something that is supposed to be a fraud.
