Who knew that Light Yagami, the God of the new world, was once a my little pony?

I almost cry evertime I hear this song. It's just so sweet. This is one of my top ten favorite movies of all time.

has anyone seen Blackboard Jungle? this is sort of the same premise except the teacher is a minority. and the thing both movies have in common is Sydney Poitier. this movie might not be political correct anymore but it's still a great movie with a great message. which is sometimes it's better to push then be passive. the other teachers let the kids do what ever they wanted. he was the only one to take a stand and say "This is not how we do things." again great movie and great song

This version is so much better than the original. I don't know why, but the melody really moves me.

It's a great scene, but because of the demands of acting those are some of the oldest-looking teen-agers I've ever seen. Teens sometimes are pressured to look like unrealistic 20- or 25-year-old actors picked to portray them.

That's right! They would probably ban that jibe in this scene "Ginger beer...queer!" There was a parody of the movie on SCTV, and they actually started to bleep out a reference to homosexuals, for fear it was "spreading hate".

They already do ban allot of the old movies, and Books, because of slang at that time, or the rhetoric of that time fram. They have also banned books from schools as well, Tyhe Adventure of Huck Finn and Mark Twain are good examples of banned books in our schools. Our History classes are a joke, they do not teach what really happened, just a very painted version
