Not yet since the amount of data being sent and received would be so great that a standard home internet connection wouldn't handle it. It could be something that can be done with more advancements in technology though.

Matt Mullenweg said it right: "its more about the ability for developers not to worry about things"Or in technical terms: just another layer of abstraction

Why don't they just call it "net computing", why have to make up a different word when refering to the internet?? The internet is not a cloud, its just the internet. Hate it when these fags feel the need to gay up my computer experience. No offense to the gay community, but you know what I mean.

So all we learned from this useless clip is that cloud computing is another form of ultra-super-abstraction bubble that does magic. The future of IT would be as following:- There is a problem- You sit in front of your computer and say: "solve it."- BAM! The clarion of resolution appears before your eyes.I can't stand philosophical jargon.

Its the time where u wont need software or hardware... u just need to a connection to the web..?? LMAO but u need a hardware dats capable of running A software to go to the net.. stupid theory.... even if its just a screen u still have the hardware...

Boy, things must be slow at the old think tank these days. Let's come up with a buzz word and try to figure out what it can be used for. Who will be the first to come out with a "Clouding Certification". It's right up there with the CISSP cert, yet another hog wash certification. The worst part is that the government falls for this junk hook line and sinker. I know, nothing strange there.
