Yes, you do. And what does the queen do? She gets payed to live in a palace. WOW, i could do that!And maybe they are improving OUR ideas, that is good, it means they appriciate it. Nothing's wrong with that. But dont go around telling me that the ideas arent greek in the first place! And oh well, some countries are bigger than others - so what? Greece has stoped being "really good friends" with the USA and the UK anyway.

Between our comments, you'll see that it seems other countries are improving Greek ideas and taking them for themselves, leaving Greece with nothing that can't already be outstripped by something else in a bigger country.(The Baron of Saarrdollowman HATES sarcasm!)p.s Republics are too common. WE have a monarchy and a Queen.

oh, ok. So the USA did not have a war for independence. No they are not! Renaissance is solely Italian! It's not even a Greek word! (it's French for rebirth).If we didn't let Hong Kong become part of China again, or give America it's independence, or hand over all we had in Africa, then what did we do! No they didn't become independent on there own! Some tried to fight and we let them go, other went on our say-so! Well, Kosovo recently became independent. Can you name any other old Yugolslavia states that did the same?

The values of Renaisance are all based on classic Greek ideals... AND, you didnt LET them form countries, they became independent on their own! Which country, let alone Empire, would just let parts of it become independent?

India attacked first! Maybe we might have pushed them too far with the unfair trading, but they still attacked first! The things the British empire did were great things!(aside from slavery and opium wars). Best of all, we set up colonies and let them form their own countries! Now where does that ring a bell! p.s Neo-classicism? I prefer Italian art thank you. And the works of L.S Lowry.

does neo-classicism ring a bell?And Alexander conquered parts of India. There was a Greek-Indian kingdom after his death!And Alexander, unlike the british, did not carry slaves back home and do all those things that the British Empire did! (not that i dont like the "britain" of the time!)
