also cuz obiwan gave anakin's blue saber to luke in 4 so yeah i mean they couldve done it earlier in the movie, but that wouldnt have really made sense

Awesome i always thought he should have had a red saber too.I just thought they couldnt do it because the red would be off because of the lava but you proved that theroy wrong.

true, i understand all the crystal stuff, but for the sake of making the scene look cooler, i just think anakin should have a red sabre, right from the moment where he attacks that windu guy.

Well the only reason the Sith have red lightsabers is because the Sith use Red Synthesized crystals, instead of natural crystals that the Jedi use. Obviously Anakin didn't have time to replace his old crystal with a red one(a crystal has to be properly meditated on for many hours before being used). Sorry for being such a nerd. And Obi-Wan didn't entirely lie to Luke. He just gave a slightly altered version of the truth.

At 1:17 obi-wan is really holding Anakin's lightsaber. If you watch revenge of the sith commentary you will hear george or somebody talking about a scene where anakin and obi-wanfight in a deleted scene and obi-wan grabs anakin's lightsaber and his own. thats why the hilt(handle) changes from 1:15-1:20.You might want to fix that.

to bad the original trilogy was made in the late 70s-early 80s otherwize the the the storyline would continue with sick CGI and wicked lightsaber duels. oh well. |
