In the middle of having fun area flying I noticed the wind speed was really picking up on the GRT EFIS display so I went back early to New Garden and had some fun with a direct crosswind at a pretty good clip and of course the hills, gaps in trees and buildings made the wind all that much more fun to negotiate! Tailwheels are a blast!!

I didn't see a 3 pointer. :p But that's okay... not a good idea to attempt a 3 point in gusty wind like that. Keep some energy in reserve. That was definitely some hairy wind.

Wow talk about being tossed around up there. Very nice landing though.
