I'm from Australia. Aussie Rules decended from the Marn Grook ABORIGINAL game, meaning it's origins date back to thousands of years ago. also, aussie rules was CODIFIED (meaning proper competion/organized) in 1858. Older than any other sport in the world, including gaelic football. But i like gaelic football alot and i hope the International Rules Series is a good game at the MCGGO AUSSIES!!!

If it s such a shit game, why has the AFL adopted it for the international rules game and begged for the irish to come back after the aussies were such wankers with thier heavy tactics? Im an aussie btw and WRAPPED ireland won tonight. GO THE IRISH and fuck the aussie AFL BABOONS

first of all, handball is part of the GAA! second, its an amateur sport and the players do it 4 the love of the game, not the money. if it was international, then theyd b paydthird, ur obviously not irish and if u were u'd regularly c it on RTE1, RTE2, TG4 and SETANTA SPORTS so get ur facts rite before u start goin on bout itALSO IM FLUENT IN IRISH (AT 14) ND SO R BOUT ANOTHER 1 ND A HALF MILLION PPL ND ITS COMPULSARY IN EVERY SECONDARY SCHOOL IN IRELAND, UNLESS UR EXEMPT. About 41% of the population of the Republic can speak An Ghaeilge. Only 2 or 3% use it as their first language though. Don't know why this annoys you.Aussie Rules is actually a con of Gaelic football as it's not as old. I attended about 8 games last year with attendences of over 78,000 supporting my county team. This video doesn't do the game justice.Wouldn't like to see it become an international game anyway. It's ours.
